Who we help

Your corporation should not feel like a financial guessing game.

We specialize in owner-managed corporations and the personal tax decisions connected to them. The relationship works best when you want accurate reporting, proactive planning, and clear accountability.

  • You only hear from your accountant at filing time. You want planning conversations before decisions are locked in and before tax balances become surprises.
  • You are not fully confident in your bookkeeping. You need clean reconciliations, dependable HST reporting, and a year-end process built on accurate records.
  • You are unsure how to pay yourself. You want salary, dividends, instalments, and corporate cash decisions explained with the actual numbers.
  • Your business is growing, but your reporting has not kept up.You need useful monthly or quarterly reporting, not just a set of statements after the fact.
  • You want clarity around scope, deadlines, and fees. You are looking for a structured professional relationship with responsibilities defined on both sides.

What better support looks like

Accounting that produces useful decisions.

The exact deliverables depend on your service plan, but the goal is consistent: make your financial information accurate, understandable, and actionable.

Reliable records

Reconciled accounts, organized support, and fewer unexplained balances carrying forward from one period to the next.

Tax visibility

Corporate tax, HST, instalments, and owner compensation considered before deadlines, not discovered after the fact.

Clear reporting

Financial statements and management reports explained in plain language, with attention directed to what matters.

Cash-flow awareness

A clearer view of cash commitments, tax reserves, owner draws, and the financial consequences of business decisions.

Defined accountability

Clear responsibilities, deadlines, and follow-up so work does not depend on last-minute scrambling and repeated reminders.

Proactive conversations

Advice tied to decisions you still have time to change, not commentary on decisions already made months earlier.

About Thrive CPA

A CPA who makes the numbers understandable and useful.

I’m Neso Pantic, a CPA, CA and the founder of Thrive CPA. I bring more than a decade of public accounting experience, beginning in 2013, including six years in a combined audit and corporate tax role. My experience spans corporate tax, financial reporting, CRA matters, owner compensation, and selected cross-border and non-resident tax matters.

What I enjoy most about this work is helping people make sense of something that often feels unnecessarily complicated. I care that my clients understand their tax situation, not just the final amount owing, but how it was calculated, what decisions affected it, and what we can plan differently going forward. Clients should feel comfortable asking questions and should never leave a conversation feeling confused about their own finances.

I founded Thrive CPA in 2022 to provide incorporated business owners with experienced, personal support. Clients work directly with me and receive clear, practical guidance throughout the year, not only when a filing deadline arrives.

Neso has been fantastic to work with! He is very patient, kind and takes the time to explain everything. I would often bother him with questions and never felt like I was inconveniencing him. I've referred Neso to others and would 100% trust him with my information.

Frequently asked

What to know before you book.

Clear expectations protect both the client experience and the quality of the work.

How do you work with your clients?

Thrive CPA uses secure, cloud-based tools to keep documents and records organized. Clients can work with the firm from anywhere in Ontario without dropping off paper files or chasing documents through ordinary email.

Do you work with personal tax clients?

Thrive CPA focuses on incorporated business owners. Personal tax work may be included when it is connected to the corporation, its shareholders, and the overall engagement, so corporate and personal decisions can be considered together.

Can you take over from my current accountant?

Yes. With your authorization, the transition can include professional clearance, access to prior filings and records, review of outstanding items, and a defined onboarding process.

Do you clean up overdue or disorganized bookkeeping?

Cleanup work may be accepted after a diagnostic review. Historical cleanup is separately scoped because the required work cannot be known reliably until the records are reviewed.

Do you provide salary-versus-dividend advice?

Owner compensation planning may form part of an annual, monthly, or advisory engagement. The recommendation depends on corporate income, personal circumstances, cash requirements, payroll considerations, and other tax factors.

How are fees determined?

Fees are based on the scope, complexity, transaction volume, record quality, deadlines, and communication or advisory requirements. Engagements are quoted upfront rather than billed without a defined scope.

Do you work remotely?

Yes. Thrive CPA is based in Etobicoke and works with incorporated business owners across Ontario through secure digital workflows.

What happens during the intro call?

The intro call is a relaxed conversation to understand your business, your current accounting setup, your year-end, and what kind of support you’re looking for. When we’re a good fit, the next step is a document review or a proposal.

Do you handle cross-border and non-resident tax matters?

Thrive CPA assists with selected Canadian cross-border and non-resident matters, including non-resident rental income, T1135 foreign-property reporting, departure-tax considerations, and Canadian reporting involving U.S. income. Where a matter requires U.S. tax filings or specialized legal advice, coordination with the appropriate adviser may be recommended.
